Yet now my hair and beard are gray, and my back is as crooked as my old, gnarled staff, but my mind is still sharp, as sharp as a goblin's claw, glinting in the moonlight. . . .
But, hark! What was that! (Listening check) Is that some sly rogue making off with my bloggy spellbook! I must hasten back to my laboratory to reconnoiter (Investigation check) . . . but, mark me, I shall return to these harrowing halls! --
